[NEWS/111104] Super Junior is not an idol group because their average age is 26.5

Cable channel YStar’s Goong Geum Ta reveals the standards of top idol groups in the industry.

    Goong Geum Ta interviewed people asking the question, “What is the standard of a top idol?”

    This resulted to identify the top celebrities from the people like Lee Byung Hoon, Bae Young Joon and Song Seung Hoon, all are duty-free shop models. They also considered the number of appearances in dramas, in commercials and the overseas popularity as the standards for top stars.

    Following the initial question is, “What is the standard of an idol group?” From this question, people gave their different opinions. Answers gathered such as, “Teenagers cover the 80% who buy idol groups’ songs/albums.”, “Members of idol groups living together.”"They should have more than 100,000 fans.

    Most likely, the idol group’s average age came out the most reasonable standard. If the average age passed 25, it’s hard to consider them as idol group anymore. From this point, Super Junior, who is one of the most popular idol group objectively not an idol group anymore since the members’ average age is 26.5.

    Furthermore, there are vague questions like the standard that differs ordinary fans from sasaeng fans . Also celebrities’ plastic surgeries.

    This episode of Goong Geum Ta will be broadcast on November 5 at 11:00PM.

Super Junior’s Lee Teuk released his picture.

    On the 4th, Lee tweeted the picture of himself with the comment, “I didn’t have enough time to have my hair cut. I need to change my hair style to MC style. By the way, who is it behind me? It looks like a ghost.”

    In the picture, Lee is taking a picture of himself, looking at himself in the glass. Yesung is behind of Lee, staring at him.

    People responded : “Yesung, you look cute.” “Why are you staring at Lee like that?” “What is MC hair style?

[NEWS/111102] Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Donghae have a fiery showdown

Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Donghae had a martial arts fighting in the air.

    In the early morning of November 2, Leeteuk, one of the members of Super Junior, posted two photos on his Twitter page with the comment: “Donghae, here’s my power wind attack against you! I’m a rising dragon~ Ugh! I was attacked. Gee! Your side kick is formidable!”

    In the photos, the two playful guys evoked big laughs by taking various funny poses as if having a martial arts confrontation each other: launching a power wind attack, or giving a sidekick. The photos were set on an outdoor swimming pool.

    People who saw the photos said: “How could you take the interesting moments? What fun!” “Who laughed last laughs? I guess Donghae!” “You seem to know how to make yourselves fun!” “You must have jumped ups and downs over 100 times to take the photos.”

[NEWS/111102] Super Junior’s Siwon shows his sense of humor by making a funny face

Super Junior’s Siwon revealed funny a snap photo of himself.

    On November 1, Siwon, one of the members of Super Junior, tweeted a photo with the comment: “You cool dude! You should be in! Next time we’ll stand on stage together.”

    In the photo, Siwon is taking a funny pose with his feet apart as if performing martial arts. He is actually imitating what a huge dog next to him is doing.

    People who saw the photo left various responses: “Are you a new member of Super Junior? You have a fantastic figure!” “Your poses are much the same.” “Why is the dog standing straight? My dog is always loafing around and lying down for naps.” “Even your funny face never compromises your attractive appearance.”

    Siwon is currently playing Kim Seon Woo in Poseidon.
