120228 Super Junior, f(x)’s Sulli & Amber, Choi Kang Hee, and more attend ’2012 Club Monaco’ event

On February 28th, some of the top K-pop stars attended the 2012 Club Monaco Presentation event, featuring Club Monaco’s new collection of Spring and Summer clothing.
Club Monaco’s concept for this season is ‘light, fresh, and warm’, and the brand displayed their liberal style of fashion with their new collection.
Celebrities such as f(x) members Sulli and Amber, actress Choi Kang Hee, andSuper Junior members Donghae, Leeteuk, and Eunhyuk were in attendance. Each celebrity took advantage of the photo-op in front of the Club Monaco step & repeat board.

120228 KyuHyun's Twitter Update

Super Junior’s Kyuhyunwas doing his utmost best to sleep, but found he couldn’t do so, so he instead went on Twitter and gave fans some sweet selcas to pass the time.
He tweeted, “I tried to sleep but I’m throwing in some grateful selcas of the presents that I gratefully received on the day of my birthday but haven’t been able to open and see yet..^^”, and posted four selcas. One such selca showed a picture of the singer, presumably from the recent Super Show 4 in Singapore. Other selcas included some delicious food, gifts, and a taxi bearing his picture.
Please give us more pictures soon, Kyuhyun!

120228 Super Junior’s Shindong and Sungmin dress up as HyunA and Marilyn Monroe

Super Junior’s Shindong and Sungmin have revealed a photo of them dressed in drag as 4minute’s HyunA and legendary Marilyn Monroe.
In the photo that was released on the 27th, Shindong dressed as HyunA, while Sungmin is dressed as Marilyn Monroe.
With long, wavy brunette wig and a bright red lipstick, Shindong pefectly imitated the 4minute idol. Sungmin, on the other hand, sports a blonde wig and even drew on a fake mole to perfectly reenact the iconic Marilyn.
This photo is a part of this week’s hot issue corner of MBC’s ‘Music Show Champion‘ which is scheduled to air February 28 at 7pm KST.
Netizens found this comical and left comments like, “Such a cute picture is now being released! The photo is daebak”, “Sungmin oppa’s, sharp eyes are so cute. I’d love to some more photos”, and “Shindong oppa, please continue to share with us some more photos.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Super Junior in drag, but it is still humorous every time! What do you think of this picture? Do they make pretty ladies?

120227 Super Junior to perform in Vietnam in March!

South Korea’s famous boyband Super Junior, along with other Korean artists – CN Blue, Beast, Sistar, Secret, Davichi, MBLAQ and IU will attend a concert in Hanoi to mark the 20th anniversary of Vietnam – Republic of Korea diplomatic ties.

The concert is co-hosted by KBS and VTV (Vietnam’s national television broadcaster). It will take place at Vietnam National Convention Center on March 15th, starting from 7PM local time (9PM KST).

It will be broadcasted live on VTV1 (Vietnamese’s channel) and will be broadcasted lated on KBS on April 6th (instead of Music Bank).

The tickets for the concert are free. More info about tickets will be revealed later.

120227 Super Junior’s Kyuhyun responds coldly to Lou Yixiao’s charming action

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun attracted attention with his cold look.

in the episode of MBC TV’s We Got Married that aired on February 25, Kyuhyun virtually married with Chinese actress Lou Yixiao. This episode was filmed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and China.

In the episode, Kyuhyun was nervous to see Lou Yixiao at first, but soon teased her, showing a cold look when she acted charming in front of him. They seemed sweet together at first, decorating their new house; however, they met a difficult problem as the bedspread and blanket that Lou Yixiao bought were too small for their bed.

Kyuhyun asked, “Why did you buy these small ones?” and Lou Yixiao said, “I don’t know,” shaking her shoulders to act charming. Kyuhyun smiled at first but soon got laughs by suddenly changing his look cold-heartedly and saying, “What are you doing?”

Also, when Lou Yixiao said her favorite Korean celebrities were Lee Min Ho and Rain, Kyuhyun made a depressed look for a moment. However, as she said she liked Kyuhyun the most out of all Super Junior members, Kyuhyun smiled brightly as if he felt better by what she said.

The Chinese version of We Got Married showed virtual marriages of Kyuhyun and Lou Yixiao, and T-ara’s Hyomin and Chinese singer Fu Xin Bo

120225 Donghae and Eunhyuk to hold a special event to celebrate the release of ‘Oppa Oppa’

Super Junior‘s Donghae and Eunhyuk will be holding a special fan event to commemorate the release of their upcoming Japanese single “Oppa Oppa“.

To thank the fans who purchase their album, the boys will be setting out to create memories with their Japanese fans through a special event on April 11th.

As reported earlier, the boys have announced their plans to release ‘Oppa Oppa’ in Japan on April 4th. The single will be released in the form of a CD as well as a DVD, and will also contain footage of their performance during their concert.

The track has a retro disco feel, and has received already much positive response during their ‘Super Show 4‘ world tour concert in Japan.
